Transnational projects
- Educational tourism based around geology, between Herault in France and the Assynt and Coigach area of the Highlands
- Training for young people working in the hospitality industry, between Finland and the Highlands
- Celtic cultural development links, between Ireland and the Highlands
Study Visits 
- Hosting of UK Countryside Exchange visits by rural development experts from the UK and North America to the Black Isle and Lochcarron areas
- Finnish Agricultural visit to East/Wester Ross and the Black Isle
- Tourism/cultural tour following the Northern Periphery Partenariat in Nairn Nov. 2003
Community Consultations
- Series of consultations leading to the set up of a community economic development programme for Ross and Cromarty
- Series of presentations and consultations to bid for a LEADER + Programme for young people in North Highland
- Exchange seminar for community based groups involved in project development and delivery Community consultations underpinning initiatives such as the Countryside Exchanges, the creation of tourism action plans, the setting up of community development groups
Project and Programme Development
- Programme to devolve decision making on use of EU funding to community groups
- Community skills development and exchange programme
- Support schemes for small scale tourism development, events, arts, community and sports projects
- Graduate placement programmes placing graduates and students into businesses for short and medium term placements, often leading to permanent employment
